It's never too early or too late!
Braces are not just for teenagers. Healthy teeth, bones and gums are a necessity for all ages.
Children:
Your child is never to young for an orthodontic check-up. Our orthodontists can spot subtle problems with jaw growth and emerging teeth while some baby teeth are still present.
You do not have to guess any longer! At M & M Orthodontics, we recommend an intial consultation visit with one of our specialists at age seven. This appointment is free of charge and is designed to assess the orthodontic needs of the child and to educate the parents. The check-up may reveal that your child's bite is fine, but the orthodontist may identify a potential problem and recommend monitoring the child's growth and development. In other cases, the orthodontist may find a problem that can benefit from early treatment.
In most cases early treatment may prevent more serious problems from developing and may make treatment at a later age shorter or less complicated. For some, the orthodontist will be able to achieve results that wouldn't be possible once the face and jaw-bones have fully developed.
- influence jaw growth in a positive manner
- reduce the need to extract permanent teeth
- reduce the possibility of teeth becoming impacted
- lower the risk of trauma to protruded front teeth
- correct harmful oral habits
- improve the width of the smile
- guide permanent teeth into a more favorable position
- improve the way lips meet

Adults:
Everyone can benefit from a healthy and beautiful smile. In the absence of periodontal disease, adults between the ages of 18 - 75 respond well to treatment. Straight teeth can make you look younger and are a part of a healthy lifestyle for todays active adults. Straight teeth can also help you maintain better oral hygiene, therefore resisting gum disease. The renewed self confidance and the loss of inhibition to smile can improve your quality of life greatly.
At M & M Orthodontics, we offer different treatment options from limited cosmetic alignment of your front teeth to full treatment. Our doctors will assess your teeth, jaws, gums, bone health and facial balance to provide you with the most viable option that would fit your orthodontic needs as well as your budget.
