Dr. Hockley graduated from Robert G. Cole High School and UTSA in San Antonio.  He then received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and his Certificate in Orthodontics from Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Hockley has been practicing since 2002; he has practiced all aspects of general dentistry while serving with the US Navy for five years and has deployed to countries such as Japan, Thailand and the Philippines.  He ended his service with the rank of Lieutenant Commander and received numerous awards and medals from the Navy and Marine Corps for his service.

He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and American Association of Orthodontics among other organizations. 

He believes there is no better place to live than Texas and now resides back in San Antonio with his wife and three children. Dr. Hockley enjoys the outdoors, traveling, playing guitar and spending time with his family.
